Formula needed - is this possible?

Hello,

I've heard that it maybe possible to write a formula that doesn't work after
a certain date.... is this true and if so how??

=IF(TODAY()39264,0/0,SUM(A1:A15))

and

=IF(TODAY()39264,0/0,VLOOKUP(E33,C51:D55,2,FALSE))
