format two cells as date (mm/dd/yy) and enter start date in one, and end date
in the other. In a third cell, subtract the end date cell from the start
date cell, that will result in a number of days, then divide by 7 to get
weeks.

The scenario is that i want to see the weekly hire cost of some equipment
