Use Excel like Matlab?
 

I'm an engineering major and I'm using Excel to compile data and solve a
complex system of equations. I have compiled such worksheets before with
great success, but this time, my worksheet will not solve. The problem is
primarily due to my use of the "ACOS" and "ASIN" functions in some of my
equations. I've created an intentional circular reference that SHOULD
converge as I hold F9 and iterate. I keep getting errors because ACOS and
ASIN can only evaluate values between -1 and 1. I've tested my equations in
both Matlab and Mathematica with success, but I would prefer to solve it in
Excel so that I can easily pull values from the worksheet. Is there any way
to use Excel in a similar fashion to Matlab? Can I do it in Visual Basic?
