File open dialog box
Can I change the "file open" dialog box? Folders and files are listed
correctly per the "views' setting; it's set to "list" and they list in alpha order, folders first, followed by files. When the dialog box opens, the selector is on the first file, which means that, for a folder with many subfolders and many files, the selector is somewhere in the middle of the listing, at the first file. Since this happens in all Office applications we use (Excel, Word, FrontPage, Access, & PowerPoint), it seems like it must be an Office thing - can it be changed and, if so, how? Thanks in advance, John |
File open dialog box
I like to create a folder called Misc and just put all those loose files in
it so that all I have is folders. I don't think there's any way to easily do what you're asking. I could be wrong. **************************** Hope it helps!
