Excel 2007 add-in with file path showing
We have 1000's of Excel 97 files that use functions from an add-in that we
originally created in Excel 97. When brought into Excel 2007, the add-in works fine in a new worksheet. When I open one of our old Excel 97 worksheets that use this add-in, the cell value shows up as #NAME, and the function contains the complete file path to the add-in. When I remove the file path, the add-in works fine. Is there a way for the file path to not show up? |

Try changing links and respecifying the same add-in in the same location. I
have had success with such an approach in Excel 2003 with the same problem. I think I may have found a solution that works. Opening the file and saving
it in a 2007 format , and then opening the file again seems to fix the problem. "Bob Flanagan" wrote: Try changing links and respecifying the same add-in in the same location.
