Color Palette Issue
I have a user that created a few excel documents on their machine, and is
embedding them in a power point. The cell fill color palette available to him in one set of cells in this power point are not available to him in another set. I opened excel on his machine, checked the color palette and the color he wants is there, then I copied the cells from powerpoint into that new excel document and the fill color palette available then was completely different, the color he wanted that was JUST there is no longer there/available - what the heck is going on? Thanks! Scott |
He modified his colors from the default.
If you go to Tools/Options on the color tab you copy colors from any other open workbook. THere is also amodify button for whichever color on the palette is highlighted. Good luck with powerpoint, probably similar options. -----Original Message----- I have a user that created a few excel documents on their machine, and is embedding them in a power point. I'm not following exactly what's happening where in your scenario, but I
suspect that the the issue has to do with the color scheme of the slide in question perhaps coupled with the specific swatches the user chose in Excel. http://www.echosvoice.com/colorschemes.htm may help give you a better idea of what's happening, though. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com "Scott McDonald" wrote in message ...
