How can I get the row and column heading of my active cell highlig
 

I am using an Excel 2000. Currently I have difficulty in identifying the row
and column headings of the active cell because the row and column headings of
the active cell have the same color as all other row and column headings.
I would like to know whether there is a way to show the row and column
headings of the active cell in ANOTHER color - different from all other row
and column headings.
Ex: Let's assume all my row and column headings are in gray color. If my
active cell is B5, then I want the column heading "B", and row heading "5" to
show a different color than gray, RED for instance.

Excel uses the color scheme set in your Windows OS Display Properties.

If you make changes at that point, they will be global changes and affect all
Windows applications.

that is exactly what I was afraid of actually. I have visited home last
weekend and my brother had a new laptop with Excel 2003 on it. On that laptop
the row and column headings of the active cell were clearly standing out
because they had a different color. Perhaps I should check what Display
properties he has on that lap top.
