What's the best way to increase a whole series of numbers by the same
percentage? Usually all in one column. Thank you. |

Hi,
Let's say you want to increase the values in A1:A100 by 25%. In a blank cell type 1.25 and copy that cell, next select A1:A100 and do a Paste Special - Multiply. To increase with 5%:

In an empty cell enter -say - 1.03 and copy the cell, ( to increase the data

Put =(1+x%) in a spare cell, copy, select your column, edit/ paste special/

Assume you want to increase the range of numbers in A1:A10 by 10%
