Beverly 1031 investor, Florida[_2_]

lost work without saving it. can I get it back?
 
hours of wrok lost. I did not save & lost it. I have not used escel since.
Can I find it? Or is it lost forever?

If you never saved, there's nothing to retrieve.

If you had Autorecover set, Excel will retrieve the latest version it saved.

Just load Excel. It will automatically look for Autorecover files, and give you
the option to open them. Hopefully you have one.

Autorecovery will kick in if excel crashes (or windows crashes closing excel).
But if the user closed excel normally--or even just closed that workbook with no
problems, then there's nothing left for autorecovery to recover.
