Searching/Counting an array
I have a really large array of data. It's in the area of 500 rows by 500
columns, with up to 30 sheets. It's formats is 1 Model Scheme Sheet TR401 TR402 TR403 TR404 TR405 2 34901 001 001 701 701 702 701 702 3 34902 001 001 701 701 701 701 702 4 34902 001 002 701 701 701 701 702 Etc. Etc. Etc. Is there a formula or group of formulas that will let me count who many times a number or numbers appears in a given row, since the rows can have different numbers or the same depending on the model, scheme & sheet. Ultimately I want to be able to loop and check every row until I run out of data and open a new worksheet and list the results. Hope someone out there can help me. Am I going about this the right way? Thanks |
