can't input or make changes in excell

Hello

I have upgraded windows 98 to windows XP and now I can't input any data into
Excell, I can open files but I cant wrie in any of the cells, I have tried it
with new spreadsheets and I still can't make changes.

I have had a look aboiut protected spreadsheets and I don't think that is
the issus.

Damien -

What version of Office/Excel?

The behavior you describe is consistent with what happens with a new
worksheet after the end of the Excel 2007 trial period.

Hello Mike

it is an office 2000 version of excel, as far as I know it is a legitimate
version.
