Header delete
How do you delete legacy headers in an Excel doc. I perform View,
Header/Footer, but cannot find a way to delete old headers. Thanks |
Header delete
IIRC, there seems to be no way to do this ..
Do hang around awhile though, for insights from others .. -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "dr" wrote in message ... How do you delete legacy headers in an Excel doc. I perform View, Header/Footer, but cannot find a way to delete old headers. Thanks |

Are you sure it is an actual header and not just repeated rows. You can
check that by going to File Page Setup and checking the [Sheet] tab to see if there are Rows to Repeat set up, and if so, just delete the entry. The [Sheet] tab is in the same area as the Header/Footer settings, just a different tab. "dr" wrote: How do you delete legacy headers in an Excel doc. You cannot delete any of the default headers/footers that Excel has provided for
you. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 2 Mar 2007 06:11:32 -0800, dr wrote: No - not a header row repeat, I'm afraid.
