Drop-Down in excel
Here is my interesting request...
How do I create a drop down in Excel, with predefined values (from another column), with the ability to select multiple values, and, after I hit enter, the values are stored in one cell seperated by a comma....??? Is this too difficult to do? I am using Office 2007... Thank You. |
Drop-Down in excel
You can do this with a data validation dropdown list and programming.
There's an example here (not tested in Excel 2007) : http://www.contextures.com/excelfiles.html Under Data Validation, look for 'DV0017 - Select Multiple Items from Dropdown List' Send Object Command - Two attachments wrote: How do I create a drop down in Excel, with predefined values (from another column), with the ability to select multiple values, and, after I hit enter, the values are stored in one cell seperated by a comma....???
