in excel 2003 its easy to build a chart... you just goto insert, then chart,
choose say x-y scatter and it comes up with a dialogue box which you edit to fill in the data range you need, then click next a few times for other otions. I can't find how you do this in Excel 2007. Instead I click Insert, then click on the scatter chart, then click the ones with lines and hey presto a chart comes up in the middle of the spreadsheet but it's invaribly not what i want. How can I bring up the interface like in Office 2003 that lets me fill in the chart options so I can build what I want instead of what Microsoft wants? |
