MS Query - from Access 2003 to Excel 97

I am trying to create a query to bring data from Access 2003 to Excel 97. I
was able to do this successfully with one of my Access databases, but not the
other. After creating a new datasource, no tables appear. I have tried all of
the suggestions in office help, but nothing works. Any thoughts?
