How do i delete drop box
 

I am using excel and someone has put a drop box in a column with nothing in
it and as such i cannot put anything in that column.

How do i delete drop box
 

could be a couple of things, first hightlight the cells and remove any data
validation in them (may be set to only allow from drop down list)
