Excel 2003 remote links update
 

I have both Excel source file and destination file on the same hard
drive. All three references in the destination file update
automatically. However the challange is when I open the destination
file on a remote computer (the source hard drive is shared). Although
I see the right path in the referenced cells and Update Remote
References under Tool/sOptions/Calculations as well as Automatic
Updates under Links are both checked, the cells don't update unless I
do it manually under Links.
If Excel doesn't provide a solution to this is there a macro I can use
to update every so often.
