I still need help gaining access to content in my worksheet as per my
previous posting on the 2/19/2007 Help with unhide content.xls. Upon opening my file all I see is a grey sheet and 99% of the toolbar buttons are greyed out. Can anyone suggest any more tips as all the previous tips did not help me out! Cheers Tony |

Tony,
Looking at your previous post most of the normal issues that cause this seem to have been examined so would you consider posting the file at http://savefile.com/ It's free and if you post the link people can have a look. Of course if it contains sensitive data you may not want to pursue this option. Tony,
Another thought occurs. What precisely does it say in the blue bar (if it is blue in your system) at the very top of the screen. It should say something along the lines of:- Microsoft Excel - workbook Mike "Tony" wrote: I still need help gaining access to content in my worksheet as per my previous posting on the 2/19/2007 Help with unhide content.xls. Hey Mike
Yes it is a blue bar at @ the top and it states Microsoft Excel - EP, which is what I have named the file! Any possibilities do you think? Cheers Tony "Mike" wrote: Tony, Another thought occurs. If you do File|Print preview, do you see the data?
If yes, maybe the window is just off the screen. Can you do: Window|Arrange|Tiled and see everything (and resize the screen) Tony wrote: Hey Mike Yes it is a blue bar at @ the top and it states Microsoft Excel - EP, which is what I have named the file! I didn't look at your previous post, but did you try...
Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults. Maybe one of these will work for you.
