Pivot Tables - Field Error
I'm getting the following error when trying to create a pivot table.
"The PivotTable name is not valid. To create a PivotTable report, you must use data that is organised as a list with labeled columns. If you are changing the name of a PivotTable field, you must type a new name for the field". The data is in a Excel Worksheet with a bunch of columns. Row 1 has a list if headings. Are there specific rules for what these headings can be? Why am I getting this error? Help .... |
Pivot Tables - Field Error
There aren't too many rules for naming the fields, but every column
needs a heading. Maybe one of the columns has a blank heading cell. The column could be hidden, or the pivot table range might include a blank column to the left or right of the data table.
