how do count a set of values that are only in todays date

what i need to do is count a set of values in colmn B in colmn A i will have
the date

i.e
A B

19-02-07 10
19-02-07 15
18-02-07 22

Total 25

the count of values in todays date only in colmn B

can some please advise, many thanks in advance Joe
