How to go "X" number of days out from a undefined date?
Hi, I need to create a spreadsheet that will show how many days my team has
to complete multiple tasks. Example I need a formula that will take a beginning date "X" and add 20 calendar days to it, then display the new date. Thanks |

One way:
=X + 20 format the cell as a date. In article , Max wrote: Hi, I need to create a spreadsheet that will show how many days my team has to complete multiple tasks. Example I need a formula that will take a beginning date "X" and add 20 calendar days to it, then display the new date. Thanks |

To Excel, dates are just numbers (actually the count of days since DEC 31,
1899 or since DEC 31, 1903 , depending on your settings). And Times are just fractions of days (eg Noon is 0.5) So...if you have a Start Date and you want a date 20 calendar days from that date....just add 20. Example: A1: 01-JAN-2007 B1: =A1+20 Formatted as a date will return 21-JAN-2007 Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "Max" wrote: Hi, I need to create a spreadsheet that will show how many days my team has to complete multiple tasks.
