Alter mulitple Vlookups at once
I have series of spreadsheets that contains a date in cell A2. In cell A1 on
each of these sheets is a Vlookup to a schedule sheet (in same workbook) that pulls in the Theme title for that particular sheet. The schedule layout has been changed and I need to modify each Vlookup across 60 worksheets. Is there a quick way to modify all the worksheets at once to change the Vlookups? Thanks |

One thing you might try is to highlight the tabs on all the worksheets
involved (Hold the 'Shift' key while clicking on the first and last tab in a continual series), then edit the cell formula as needed. The change should be reflected in all the highlighted worksheets. / Tyla / On Feb 16, 12:46 pm, MikeD1224 wrote: I have series of spreadsheets that contains a date in cell A2. Hi Mike,
You can do that with Find & Replace on each sheet. However, before doing that, I'd suggest giving your lookup range a defined name, then use that as the replace value. This way, next time your lookup table changes, changing the range referred to in the defined name will update all sheets automatically.
