In another cell, type this: "=SUM(P1:P130)"
That'll do it. "NascarOnline" wrote: Ok I have a cell P which is all my users hosting bills the paid in dollars. I need to get the total from P1 to p130 added so I have a total amount that was paid. Thanks |

Not working it comes out with the total amount that is in p115 and not a
total from p1 to p115 "Gord Dibben" wrote: In P131 enter =SUM(P1:P130) Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 16 Feb 2007 11:24:15 -0800, NascarOnline wrote: Ok I have a cell P which is all my users hosting bills the paid in dollars. in other words, it gives you only the value that is in P115 and nothing from
any other cell. If this is the case, there is a chance that the other cells are really text and not numbers even if they look like numbers. in an empty cell enter 1 select that cell and copy select cells P1:P30 paste special multiply. see if the sum works properly now.
