I have an excel spreadsheet that I update every day. A few weeks ago, I made
a copy of it (so now I have 2) because I wanted to make some changes, but did not want to do it in one day, and did not want to disrupt my daily work. NOW- I have to excel spreadsheets the first one (the original) is currently up to date with my daily work, but does not have the new page I made. The second one has the updated worksheet in it, but has data from the day I created the duplicate file many weeks ago. When I attempt to copy and paste just the changed worksheet into the one I have been using daily for the last few weeks it was to point all my formulas to the other file... Normally my formulas are pointing to the other sheets where the data resides, but NOW my formulas are pointing to the other excel file... How can I fix this?? I have tried every combination in the "paste special function," but I stilll can't figure it out. Thanks for your help. |

Try opening the file and using Edit | Links and change the source to the
current workbook by pointing it to it's own name in the file browser when that comes up during the process. "Sonia Marie" wrote: I have an excel spreadsheet that I update every day.
