Filters not working properly

Hi,

I am having problems with a large spreadsheet. In one of the columns (chq
no.s) the filters are only filtering data to row 1004. Any data after that
row is not showing on that colums filter dropdown. It seems to be only this
column as in the other columns I can filter the data right down to the bottom
of the spreadsheet. There are no gaps in between rows so that is not the
problem.

This is also happening in another spreadsheet in only one column. Can you
explain/fix this.

Thank you.

As I recall, Excel's autofilter has a limit of around 1000 unique items in a
list.

Maybe the advanced filter tool can help.

You can always use the custom option and type in the requirements.
