Excel problems
 

Recently I have started having a few stange things occur in Excel.
1.) When I try an select a cell or two it seems the mouse button is stuck
and continues to select all cells.
2.) My pointer (when it can be used) has a worksheet looking thing under it
and does not allow me to perform any functions or access the toolbars.
Can anyone help?
