Autofilter Not working

When I open my excel spreed sheet (2003) in the title bar [group] appears,
it's not a shared workbook, it has no passwords, and it was not saved with a
workspace, and my autofilter doesn't work, I can see the arrows, but when I
click on them, nothing happens. If I go to Data / Filter / Autofilter,
everthing is grayed out. Can you please help me
Thanks

"Group" means more than one sheet is selected. Right-click the tab of any
of them and pick Ungroup Sheets.

[group] means you have two or more sheets selected.

Grouped sheets cannot be autofiltered.

You can see which ones by the white sheet tabs. Take note of these.

To ungroup, click on one that isn't in the group or right-click on any sheet
tab and "Ungroup".

NOTE: while sheets were grouped, anything done to one will have been done to
the other(s) in the group.....data entry, formatting etc.

Check your data carefully if you don't know how long they have been grouped.

You may be in for a surprise or two.
