Inserting File Path name
Currently I am able to insert the file path name at the bottom of my Word
documents by: Insert/Field/Document Information/FileName/Options/Field Specific Swtiches tab/ /p - add to field. I want to do this same thing for my Excel documents. Is this possible? |

Do you mean as in a "footer" that appears when you print or as in a cell value that is always visible. 1. As a footer, go to ViewHeader/Footer and click on the Icon to insert the file path and name. 2. In a cell.........see Bob Phillips' site for formula to enter the path and name. http://www.xldynamic.com/source/xld.xlFAQ0002.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 13 Feb 2007 12:09:01 -0800, Kelli wrote: Currently I am able to insert the file path name at the bottom of my Word documents by: Insert/Field/Document Information/FileName/Options/Field Specific Swtiches tab/ /p - add to field.
