This is Excel's auto-recognition 'feature'. So I suspect you have part numbers or similar with a dash in. To overcome this rename the file to either have a .txt extension, or none at all. Thank you for your prompt response. One more question. I found <cr inside text cells. This causes a rwo to be broken into multiple ones. Is there a way for the wizard to "skip" those invalid <cr?
