Default Flip text box 180 degrees

Is there a way to flip a text box so the text is completely upside-down? I
can do drawing objects fine... having trouble with a text box though. Thanks
in advance.

You can't directly. But you can, this way:
press the Print Screen button (near the F12 key), then use Edit/Paste. With
the Picture toolbar, crop this down to only the text box. Then USe Edit/Cut,
click somewhere on the worksheet, edit Paste. Now you can rotate this
object.

But -- why would you want to do this?

G'day Bob! Actually need to send a survey to about 1000 people and will
print the document two-sided and use the backside of the last page of the
survey as the postal imprint and return address (no envelope used), so need
to flip. This may have been the wrong way to skin this cat (sorry PETA).
Again, have a g'day mate! Appreciate the help. I'll give it a shot...

It's still not working for me. I have Excel 2000 SP3. Everything was fine
till after I paste it into the worksheet. I try to click on it to have the
Free Rotate button (Drawing Toolbar) highlighted, but it doesn't highlight so
I'm not able to rotate. It seems to be recognized as a picture which should
work.... I can double click to edit the picture, click on size tab, but
Rotation box is also grayed out. Still puzzled...

Bob, I sent the worksheet to a friend with a newer version of Excel and it
worked fine. Thanks. Because of your help, NOW I'm having a g'day.

Mikey,

Some possibilities. Instead of a text box, use a cell. Hold Shift as you
click Copy (menu bar) - Copy Picture. Now paste where you want it. It
should be able to be rotated. You don't need the original cell any more.

Use WordArt. There's a button on the Drawing toolbar for it.
