Drop down list & frozen panes
I have a worksheet with column C containing a drop down list in each cell
using the Data...Validation feature. Normally when the cell is selected a down-arrow icon is shown to the right of the cell and I am able to choose between list elements. The problem is that I have frozen a pane between column C & D such that when you scroll to the right, column D slips to the left underneath column C. The down-arrow icon disappears and I am not able to choose from the list anymore. Any ideas how to prevent this ? |

Hi,
An alternative to the arrow is to use the Alt+Down Arrow to bring up the list. Drop down list & frozen panes
Either move the freeze line somewhere else or select the DV cell in C and Alt +
DownArrow to open the list. Then select value with DownArrow Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 8 Feb 2007 08:35:01 -0800, naive14 wrote: I have a worksheet with column C containing a drop down list in each cell using the Data...Validation feature.
