how to type (R) instead of ® in excel?
Joe,
There are two option. The first is to type (R) and let it convert to ® and then press CTRL+Z to change it back to (R) and then type the rest of the cell contents before pressing ENTER. The other option is to go to the Tools menu, choose "Auto Correct" and remove the (r) item from the list. Note that this second method will remove the auto correct option for all Office applications, not just Excel. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com (email address is on the web site) "Joe" wrote in message ... how to type (R) instead of ® in Excel? |

You can type a decimal in front of it first.
..(R) will then display as .(R) then simply edit the cell and delete the period. "Chip Pearson" wrote: Joe, There are two option.
