Un-Protecting a Worksheet

I'm fairly certain I know the answer to this question, but I (and my boss)
wanted to make sure.

Is there any way to un-protect a workbook if you do not know the password
that someone used to protect it? It's a really involved workbook and all I
want to do is add one darn row. I'm pretty sure that it's impossible, but if
there's any way, please let me know. I'm not above jumping into neck-deep
code if I must, I just need to know where to look ; )
