How Do I?
I have two questions?
1. How can I make it so that you can only input certain data into a cell or a range of cells. For instance, I want to make it so that you can only enter a '0' or a '1' into a specific row? 2. How can you make it so that if they enter the wrong data they will receive an error message? Thank you for your help!! |

You can use Data Validation from the Data menu. In this you can
specify the range of values that are acceptable, you can set up an input message for when the cell is selected and you can also set up different outcomes and messages if the data entered is not valid (all on separate tabs in the panel that pops up). Hope this helps. Pete On Feb 6, 7:50 pm, Buttercup wrote: I have two questions? 1. How can I make it so that you can only input certain data into a cell or a range of cells.
