How can you make the Find function stop when it reached the end
Hi All,
I wonder if there is a way to make the Find function stop searching once it reached the end of my sheet? I have a large spreadsheet and the Find feature just keeps looping. In Word it tells you that it reached the end of the document and if I want to start from the beginning, but Excel does not seem to do that. Is there a setting that I am missing? It is Excel 2003. Thanks. |

Excel just keeps trusting you when you click the Find Next button.
You can watch the namebox (to the left of the formula bar) to see the address of the found cell. Or if you're using xl2002+, you can do a find all and scroll through the results window. If you're using xl2k (or below), you could use Jan Karel Pieterse's FlexFind: http://www.oaltd.co.uk/MVP/ Actually, Jan Karel's program will work for all versions of excel. kikilein wrote: Hi All, I wonder if there is a way to make the Find function stop searching once it reached the end of my sheet?
