moving data from one sheet to another
My boss wants to know how to move data that he has tabulated from one sheet
to another. There are instances where the State has set up something so you can enter data, and it automatically shows up on a different sheet in the set. We are on the County level. Is there a code or something where you can enter so it automatically transfers data from one page to another once you enter it?? If not can anyone help me with it? |

David,
There are numerous ways to have information from one sheet appear on another. You can use linked cells, create a macro, or simply copy the data. -- http://HelpExcel.com "David" wrote: My boss wants to know how to move data that he has tabulated from one sheet to another. Thanks. I'll investigate into macros, because that's what the state had
done. How do you link cells? I have a tutorial book for excel 2000, but we use '03. I offered him the advice of copying and pasting, but he thought that was too time consuming and there was an easier way. Thanks.
