Bring cell colour as well as number along with the "Max" function

I have four rows across 7 columns, (A3 TO G6). Each row is formatted a
different colour. It's a "what if" sheet. Each row represents a political
party (the name is in column A). The numbers in cells B3 to B6 are projected
numbers of votes in a forthcoming election. The other cells divide the
numbers entered respectively by 2, 3, 4, 5, and six along each of the 4 rows.
I then have a column (E9 to e17) which, using =MAX(B3:G6), then
MAX($B$3:$G$6;2) and so on, gives me the highest 7 numbers in the range B3 to
G6. So far so good. However, sometimes a number is duplicated in two
different cells in this second column. [To see this enter 240,100, 40 and 20
in B3 to B6]
What I would like to do is bring the color of the cell along with the
number. That way if "party a" have 40 in a cell (yellow) and "party b" have
40 in a cell (red), it will be immediately apparent to whom the two 40's now
appearing in E9 to E17 belong.
