Cursor Icon
A coworker asked me for help with excell (2003). While working in a
spreadsheet, her mouse would not respond. I looked at it and saw a CD ROM icon next to the mouse icon, and in fact, it would not move. I hit ctrl-alt-del and the task manager popped up, and I was able to use the mouse. I then canceled the task manager and it took me back to the spreadsheet where the mouse had a normal icon and was functioning properly. Any ideas why this might have happened and how it can be prevented in the future. Thanks as always, JS |

Generally happens when the system is trying to read from the CD Drive. Remove
any CD's that aren't required. "jstephenson" wrote: A coworker asked me for help with excell (2003). While working in a spreadsheet, her mouse would not respond.
