Protecting Work from being copied

Hi everyone, wonder if anyone can help me with this problem.

I have spredsheets ready which took alot of work to build. I do these
spreadsheets to ease the work load from the office I work at, but I do not
like the fact that this work can easily be copied and anyone can use these
spreadsheets without my permission. Is it possible to protect these
spreadsheets from being copied? Thank you in anticipation.

You could give them a .pdf instead of the real file........or, highlight the
area of cells and do Ctrl-Shift Edit CopyPicture, and then paste it into
a new workbook, or Word, or email and give it to them instead of the real
file.

Thank you ever so much for taking interest in my quire, but the problem is
that actually they use these spredsheets to work with, that is I spend hours
working on formulas to make their work easyer, and then they are free to copy
the spredsheets and use my work elswhere. What I actually want is a way to
stop my work being copied. I would appreciate it if you can help me.

Thank you
Albert

There's not a whole lot can be done in this arena Albert. Excel is not a
secure environment. Just about any "security" measure you could install in a
file, some Guru could crack it. And, if you wrap the file around too much
password and "date sensitive" kind of stuff, soon, people just won't fool
with it and go elsewhere. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Thanks anyway Chuk, to be honest I did not think it could be done, but I
thought someone could help me here.

Thank you once again for answering
