Default Help with Formula

I am trying to get a formula to work that when I put a number in Current
Month it will add to FY to Date and Project to Date. The FY and Project to
date totals need to be a running total. I have tried the following: in cell
B1 =A1+B1 and in cell C1 =A1+6248. This calculates in row 1, but when I
input into row two or hit the enter key the total in column b and c
increases? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Help with Formula

Your post is not clear. Please try to lay it out better and explain step by
step what you are after.
For example, cell B1 cannot have a formula referencing itself. B1 cannot
equal A1+B1.
In C1, what is the 6248?
Do the formulas in B1 and C1 carry all the way down the page?
Are you logging the entire year on this sheet, with multiple projects that
each have their own name or ID?

Default Help with Formula

This is a report that updates monthly. I need Cell B1 to continually update
when hours are put in Cell A1. The 6248 is the current total for projects to
date. It also needs to update when current month hours are updated.
