Calculating Hypothetical Growth of $10,000 in Excel
I keep track of the percentage gains/losses of mutual funds in excel. How do
I create a formula that will tell me the growth of $10,000 over a period of time based on percentage gains/losses (like what you see on Morningstar)? Thanks |

I'm not familiar with Morningstar's data and so am not sure what you're
asking. Can you provide a link to relevant data? Dave -- Brevity is the soul of wit. "WxNoleMO" wrote: I keep track of the percentage gains/losses of mutual funds in excel. So do you want to create a similar chart?
Just set up a table: Year $value %increase 1 $10,000 .05 2 =B2*(1+C2) .12 3 =B3*(1+C3) etc. Dave -- Brevity is the soul of wit.
