Pivot Table Order Not Functioning
When I create a pivot table then try to change the order of the rows
displayed, the Order options of 'Move to beginning' 'Move up' 'Move down' and 'Move to end' are not allowed. They are greyed out. Is this a function that I need to somehow turn on? How can I allow this functionality? Thanks. Jeff Eubanks |
Pivot Table Order Not Functioning
Just a guess, before going to the Ordering options, where is your cursor?
You should have the member you want to move selected. If you have clicked outside the pivot table, the Order menu is still available (poor design Microsoft) but its options will be greyed out. Pivot Table Order Not Functioning
Bob,
Thanks for the reply, however, my cursor is located in the pivot table, actually it is on the row I'm trying to change the order on. Also, I know the functionality works, because I can create the pivot table on my work computer and the order is greyed out. However, I can take the file home and work on it on my home computer and the order functionality works fine. That makes me think it is some kind of setting that is not turned on on my work computer.
