Can you turn on font color and maintain it wout highlighting anyth
 

I would like to be able to turn on a font color and retain that color until I
change it without having to highlight an area.

I'm working on a data sheet and sporadically I need to change color and
complete a large list then go back to the default color.

Possibly of help to you...
The color palette for either the font or cell interior can be pulled off the
toolbar and dropped on the worksheet. It will scroll with the sheet and
remain visible while you work on the sheet.
