Default how to format a cell adding 17.5% VAT excel

Hi have made a spreadsheet up with Net totals. How do I make cell underneath
show total + 17.5 % VAT Thanks in advance

If total is in A10, then =A10*.175 would give you the VAT amount.

Net amaount in D7, formula in D8:

=D7*1.175
