Entering 3.9 - Excel means that is Date how tu turn off it
 
Hello,
I'm entering in cell "3.9" and Excel automaticaly recognizes as date
"2007.03.09".. This is bad..

How TURN OFF this feature..

That sounds like a mixture of having the cell formatted to date before you
enter the number, and the date separator in Windows/ Regional Options being
set to full stop rather than a slant. Try chaging the cell format to
General before you put in the data, and/or change your Windows date
separator to a slant.
