Excel 2000
Lately, when I open, edit and save (or don't save) a workbook, the system
creates another workbook with ~RF1....TMP added after the .xls extent. For example for a Myworkbook.xls, another file called Myworkbook.xls~RF1f84a34.TMP gets created. It does not happen all of the time but happens more often than not. And what's more of a problem is that I cannot delete these temp files unless I reboot my computer? What's going on? Thanks for your help. Basharat. |
