Sharing Workbook - allowing multiple edits

My users have a spreadsheet report that must be submitted to a client each
week. Each week the users edit their own copy and send it to an admin to copy
and paste the data to create one file. One cell on particular must reflect
each user's comments. I have tried sharing the workbook, but only one
version of the conflicting data can be saved. Likewise, merging seperate
workbooks only allows for one version of the cell contents to be saved.

Can anyone suggest a solution that will allow for the workbook to save
multiple edits of the same cell? In other words, I need Fred, Suzy and Joe
to add his/her particular comments to a cell.

Apparently, asking each to access the file at a particular time AND meet the
deadline is not an option.

Thanks in advance!

Charlie

Collaboration is not really Excel's strong point. Perhaps you could use
google spreadsheets? spreadsheet.google.com
