PivTbl source: Can be linked cell? formula?

Source for PivTbl is an Excel "List" (simple database format).

One of the fields (columns) in the database is a calculated field (it
is a formula, not a regular number).
Another column is a linked field.

Do I have to copy the list and use Paste Special "values only" to
change the calculated/linked fields to a regular number fields (instead
of a formula field or linked field) BEFORE creating a Pivot Table from
the "List"?

Or, will the Pivot Table work OK using a formula/linked fields in the
database "List" source ?

Thank you in advance!

Hi

No problem using calculated fields (columns).
Just go ahead and create your PT based upon your table.
