how do I link the format of another cell
 

Hi,
I have a work sheet in which I copy dates from many other individual's work
sheets. I have linked these cells. But the individual work sheets have color
coded dates. These formats(color) are not appearing while linking.
Is there a way around? I cannot copy-paste the original contents because
this needs to be done every week for many individuals!
