the color of text stays hidden on spread sheet but appears when printed. how
do we change this?

AutoShape object in an Office document does not change

As directed, change the High Contrast setting in Windows OS

Check your Page Setup (File -- Page Setup -- Sheet). If the box for Print
in Black and White is checked, that may be the issue.
